Oliver Thorne, was shortlisted for the prestigious Clinical Negligence Lawyer of the Year award at the National Personal Injury Awards, which took place in Manchester on 27 November.
Commenting after the awards ceremony, clinical negligence lawyer Oliver said:

Oliver eraned his place among the finalists by demonstrating an extraordinary degree of compassion and empathy for the people he represents. His clients are often facing terminal illness, dealing with the loss of a loved one or having to cope with a lifetime of illness and care. While some lawyers might just concentrate on “getting the job done”, Oliver takes the time to build a genuine relationship with the clients. They talk of his “warmth”, “kindness” and “compassion”. Oliver prides himself on providing access to justice for the victims of medical accidents and is part of a team that can assist clients with all types of clinical negligence cases. He represents families at inquests, often without making any charge, and his achievements have been recognised by the influential Legal 500 publication, the 2019 edition noting him as being ‘very experienced and knowledgeable’.
